The other morning I was laying on my bed thinking about how I missed journaling, just brain dumping everything I was feeling and thinking. Blogging used to be my journaling years ago. I thought to myself I need to do this again. I need to blog all my feelings, I need to see my feelings in words, and I need to put them out there.

Old School Blogging

Originally in 1998 I started blogging and it was so much different than what blogging has become over the years. Blogging was about writing your thoughts and feelings. You didn’t write for the audience – you wrote for yourself. I found that as I wrote my words down it helped my readers to know that they were not alone.

Covid-19 Life is Hard

Life is hard right now for everyone. I hope that in the process of me expressing myself that you will feel less alone and that you are not the only one struggling.

I know it helps me know that I’m not alone when I see other moms share on Instagram that they are struggling with not having personal time. I know it helps when I see that other women miss seeing their friends one on one right now. I know it helps when I hear of a friends solution to getting groceries delivered because they are struggling with wearing a mask.

Starting Something New…

So all of this was to say Pepper Scraps is changing and evolving. That I hope that you enjoy reading about life from an adult student, a mom of a tween, a mom of a teen, a girlfriend, a divorcee, a crafter, a woman with anxiety, an artist, someone that is working from home, and a woman that is looking to grow.
