Bloggers you Should be Following: Chris Brogan

Chris Brogan

I really started following Chris when I got onto Google+. It was amazing to see how some people opened up in the first beginnings of Google+ and I loved to read Chris and see a more real side of him. I quickly got on board and added him to my google reader and signed up for his newsletter.

Though I run a business, my belief has always been that I can share as much as 90% of what I know how to do for free, and that if you need more than that, then you’ll likely want to pay for the extra help.

Chris has all the amazing stats of a great business man and blogger as you can read on his about page. But that isn’t the only reason I suggest following him I love his belief in sharing what he can for free.

Chris is also a great example of how when someone hits the big time they still connect and don’t loose touch. This is how you create a real community!

Corbett Barr

Today I want to introduce you to someone I just met.

Corbett Barr

I found his name on another site as someone to watch in 2012 so I decided to look at some of his projects that he has started. One word of warning his sites do not have a pg rating, but maybe that’s what caught my eye he has passion!

Think Traffic had a great post up about being At Your Lowest Point with your blog and being ready to really build a blog that matters! Yes please I want to see passion like this in bloggers! I love that Corbett’s main goal is to teach bloggers How to Create a Blog that Matters! I want to do this and I’m sure you do to!

Then I pulled up his main blog, Corbett Barr, and saw that he is talking about motivation and this is what my real focus is all about this year! Building motivation and working hard!

Corbett is now in my Google Reader and I can’t wait to start reading more!

Bloggers you Should be Following: Jendi Pagano

Last week I talked about 5 Things You Need to Start Vlogging. To add one more item to that list I would say a vlogging buddy or inspiration! Jendi from Simple Vlogging Tips has been a huge inspiration for me for vlogging. I have watched her vlogs for years. So to bring back Blogger you Should be Following I want to introduce you to:

Jendi Pagano

I think one of the reasons I have loved the chance to get to know Jendi is that she is such a wonderful and down to Earth woman. She loves to chat with you and she is the biggest cheerleader if you are looking into starting to vlog.

She is the founder of a great blog that is filled with amazing vlogs all about starting to vlog: Simple Vlogging Tips.

My purpose in creating this site is to inspire and encourage other bloggers to start vlogging – or video blogging. Online video did more for my online presence in 6 months than regular blogging did in a year.

If you don’t know where to start when it comes to vlogging start by watching Jendi!

Bloggers you Should be Following: Darren Rowse

Darren Rowse

I stumbled upon Darren’s blog Problogger years ago and have had a subscription ever since. Problogger is a “Blog that helps bloggers to add income streams to their blogs.”  Will you become a pro blogger by reading Darren’s writing? You will never know unless you try!

Some other great blogs that you can find Darren at are: Digital Photography School and TwiTip – Twitter Tips.

Darren is not only a blogger but has some great, great eBooks that  I highly recommend reading if you are wanting to learn more about blogging. One of my favorites being 31 Days to Building a Better Blog.

I have had some great conversations with Darren on Twitter and Google+. Not only is he amazingly knowledgeable about blogging but about social media and marketing also!

Back in 2002 I stumbled upon an article about ‘Blogging’. I didn’t know it at the time but that moment changed my life.  – About Problogger

Bloggers you Should be Following: Nicholas Cardot

Last week I started this really fun series, if you missed the first featured blogger you have to check out Amy Lynn Andrews. In this series I’m sharing some of the great blogs and bloggers on the internet that you should really follow. Especially if you are learning and striving to become a blogger. I recommend not only following their blogs but also check out their other networking profiles.

Nicholas Cardot

I was already to feature another blogger this week when Nicholas popped up  and was chatting with me on twitter about all things potty training. This is a great example of how to endure your readers to you, chat with them about more than you niche, chat with them about the everyday! To show that I appreciated the little chat I put off then scheduled post and bumped him up in my list. Yes Nicholas was already on the list!

Nicholas Cardot is the founder of the great blog Site Sketch 101.

I want to take my years of experience and pour them out so every one of you who has a desire to create amazing, appealing websites or blogs for your church, charity, business or self can get it done. – The Vision and Focus of Site Sketch 101

Nicholas is truly someone I look up to for his inspirational encouragement to bloggers to not let their blogs be mediocre but also to look at them as a piece of art that they are creating. He wants to help you make your blog appealing to your visitors.
