Top 13 Android Games for Kids

After finishing this post I realized there is a real theme to the apps that Zane has – he is all boy! Weapons, knights, ninjas, and starwars. You can see the theme that runs in our house. So I will have to do a Top Games for Girls post soon!

All of these reviews are by Zane, the Android School Boy, he dictated them to me and I just typed.

Minecraft – Pocket Edition ($5.94)

Minecraft is a game that you get to build houses and use weapons. I have built a castle before. I like Minecraft because you get to use weapons.

We did purchase the full version of this game for Zane & Zarek. It was a Christmas present and was well worth the higher price.

Tiny Legends: Heroes

You get to be different characters. I like to be the guy with the bow and arrow and Zarek gets to be the one with the sword. I like this game because you get to kill bad guys.

Shake Spears!

Shakes Spears is about knights. There are four teams: red, green & gold, fire, and spider. I like this game because you get to ride horses and you get to use spears and shields.

Muffin Knight FREE

You get to be lots of different characters and your are trying to get all the muffins so you can get to the next level. You have to avoid the piggies and other monsters. I like Muffin Knight because it is a really cool game.

We purchased the full version of Muffin Knight because it is a game that Zane always tends to go back to. Plus sometimes we use games as a reward for chores or good behavior.

Ninja Chicken

Ninja Chicken is all about running and you can slice cacti with throwing stars. You can get hurt by the cacti. I like Ninja Chicken because you get to run and use weapons.

Fruit Ninja Free

Fruit Ninja is about slicing fruit with your sword, You also get to see the fruit splash when you slice them. I like Fruit Ninja because you also have bombs and you don’t want to hit them or else your ninja will die.

Ninja Dashing

You get to kill samurais and bad ninjas. You are a ninja that runs and jumps and you have to jump on the samurais. I like ninja dashing because you get to destroy bad guys.

Angry Birds Star Wars

Angry Birds Star Wars you get to use a light saber to protect yourself from the piggies. The piggies are the bad guys. You are trying to beat Darth Vader Piggie. I like Angry Birds Star Wars because you get light sabers.

We picked our top Angry Birds app, the whole family loves all the Angry Birds Apps!

LEGO® City Fire Hose Frenzy

This is Lego Fireman and you get to put out fire. You get to use a helicopter, a firetruck and a ladder. You spray the fire with water until the circle is filled with blue. I like Lego Fireman because you get to be a hero.

LEGO® City Spotlight Robbery

This is Lego Policeman City Night Time and you have to find the robbers. You get to run and then you have to find the light bulb or use the helicopter light to find the bad guys. I like Policeman City because you get to put the robbers in jail.

LegoTV

LegoTV you get to watch any lego cartoon. My favorite LegoTV is Ninjago and Chima.

Not actually associated with LEGO this app is just a way to let your kids watch the LEGO YouTube Channel without giving them full YouTube access.

Catcha Catcha Aliens!

Catcha Catcha Aliens is about catching alien spiders. You can also try to catch red animals, but then you lose points. You have to try and get the color of aliens the guy needs. I like Catcha Catcha because the guy tells you what color you need.

Beach Buggy Blitz

In Beach Buggy Blitz you get to drive and you have to miss the rocks. You can get coins to get new cars and new colors of your car. Also you can change guys. I like Beach Buggy Blitz because you get to try and get past obstacle courses.
