I wanted to say thank you to everyone’s nice words. I am starting to feel better emotionally. I’m enjoying the idea of being pregnant and have even told a couple people.
One exciting thing is that I had a place that had requested my resume a couple of weeks ago. I just got their message from monday that they wanted to meet me. (Good thing my interview pants have an elastic band.)
I wanted to be up-front with them about me being pregnant. I knew that some employers don’t like to hire someone that is pregnant. It’s a risk. Is the employee going to be coming back after maternity leave? How long of a leave will they be taking?
They were actually excited for me. They said that was a wonderful thing and that it wouldn’t be an issue. So I have an interview and I’m really excited about it. The only thing I’m worried about is my face is really broken out because of hormones and my clothes have already started not to fit.

That’s awesome! glad to hear they were good with your being pregnant. I went on about 10 job interviews while huge pregnant and didn’t get hired. It was really discouraging because we really needed a job at the time!
Hi there! I was just reading about people asking if the pregnancy was planned… think that’s bad, I’m pregnant with #8, and almost every person asks me this: ” Are they all yours?” Like what kind of question is that? LOL people are really interesting that’s for sure. Anyways, I hope all goes well for you, I’m due april 3rd. take care:)
