If you get a real tree or if you fake doesn't go all the way to the ceiling you should consider putting it on a small table. This has worked for us in the past and it is cheaper if you buy a tree b/c you are purchasing a smaller tree yet it is still grandiose. :-) Don’t forget your puppy may want to christen your tree too. :-) Do you have a fake tree or real. My favorite holiday. I plan to do my decorating this weekend, maybe even on Friday. My son is 14 so that is not a concern. My problem this year is my 8 months old American Bulldog. She is in the chewing stage, and will eat anything that catches her eye. I'm not sure if I can even do a tree this year. Maybe I'll put it downstairs in the rec-room. The second year I cheated we had our tree on a small side table so it was up high.
