I think I might go out tonight and get the stuff to do this. I didn’t think about doing it without the pockets. I don’t need the pockets because I already have an advent with little drawers to stuff things into. Yeah! Perfect!

Thanks for linking to Dollar Store Crafts! I think you could definitely do the placemat advent calendar w/out a sewing machine. It wouldn’t take THAT long to hand-sew the pockets on, or you could use tacky glue for them (you’d just have to fit small treats/papers in there…) Or maybe you wouldn’t need the pockets? Do you put stuff in your advent calendar? You could just glue the numbers on as a place to put the ornaments.
