Montreal Meatballs
One of the interesting things that I figured out while learning to cook and count calories and protein is that you can get ground beef with the same fat percentage as most ground turkey. In our house that made a very happy husband.

My husband just doesn’t love ground turkey he will eat it for me, but if we were having it all the time I think he would have gone off the deep end. I then found extra lean ground beef. Now the key is look at the fat percentage on the packaging. You want 93% fat free, it will cost more, but is worth it!

We switched from our large batch meals for the week being just soups and stews to include meatballs. I have a few meatball recipes that my family enjoys but I wanted to try something new and fun. This recipe has a real kick to it, so if you don’t like it spicy then bring down the Montreal Seasoning down to 1 tablespoon!
