Healthy-Mind-Healthy-mom

‘Tis the season for stress right? But truly as Mom’s we need to slow down, relax. Not only for ourselves but our families too.

If you are a reader of Pepper Scraps you know that my life motto is Healthy Mom = Healthy Family. And I really hope that my readers will make this a motto for their lives as well.

Healthy Mom = Healthy Family

You see me sharing recipes and menu plans every week, but a healthy mom  is more than just a mom that is focusing on healthy food and fitness. A healthy mom is someone who is really focusing on making their lives better and in turn making their families lives better.

Healthy Mind = Healthy Mom

One part of a mom that gets neglected is her mind, her soul. This month I want to really focus on how to take time for ourselves and finding ways to have less stress. We forget that when we are stressed our whole family is stressed. That is why I’m doing Healthy Mind = Healthy Mom this December.

Why December?

Why December of all months to do this? Because I think December is one of the hardest parts of the year for us moms. We are focusing so hard on our family. We may be dealing with heartbreak like many this time of year. It is the worst time for stress this year! We need the reminder to stop, breath, relax, and enjoy the season, enjoy our family.

What to expect from Pepper Scraps?

On Facebook I will be sharing Christmas Songs as a reminder to stop and just remember to relax and enjoy the season. So make sure and Like Pepper Scraps.

On Pinterest I will be create a Less Stress Holidays board. I will be filling it with ways to relax, ways to make the holidays easier, and more. So make sure and Follow me on Pinterest.

And of course you can expect easy recipes and other ideas on how to make the holidays less stressful right here!

Hi I'm Pepper. My family and I are sharing pieces of our lives.
We hope to inspire you by showing that even small changes can make the biggest differences in your life. You don't have to go to extremes to become healthy. Just do it one habit, one meal, one walk, and one hug at a time.

Let's work together one piece at a time making better habits, eating healthier, getting moving, and most of all loving our families.
