I was making these cute Valentine’s Day Love Bug Pencil Toppers for my but as soon as Zane saw them he asked if we could make them for all the girls in his class. We already have a Minecraft Valentine planned for the boys this year (make sure you are subscribed so you don’t miss it), but Zane thought the girls would love these. Of course when we finished making them he wanted to keep them for himself.

Supplies:
- Pipe Cleaners (Chenille Stems) – cut in half
- Glitter Pipe Cleaners – cut in half
- Googly Eyes
- Large Pom Poms
- Small Pom Poms
- Pencils
- Hot Glue Gun & Glue
- Tacky Glue or Glue Dots
- Scissors

Prep for kids: Hot glue pipe cleaner end into pom, fold second pipe cleaner in v shape and hot glue in opposite side of other pipe cleaner.
Step 1: Twist ends of V shaped pipe cleaner around pencil
Step 2: Glue google eyes with tacky glue or glue dots
Step 3: Glue nose just below eyes (optional)
Step 4: Bend base pipe cleaner at a 90 degree angle
Step 5: Hold pipe cleaner just above bend holding in parallel with pencil, wrap end of pipe cleaner around pencil tightly.
