Today was full of many firsts for me. And not all of them good, but not all bad. But all a little funny or ironic.

My first time:

Driving to the convention center by myself.

Driving over the I5 bridge – realizing I do not like driving over large bridges over water

Going to a convention all by myself

And of course some of the things that weren’t new to me:

Having no idea where my credit card is.

Running home to get another card, then realizing that my paypal business card did have funds and I didn’t need to turn around

Running late

Getting lost. I don’t know what it is if I’m running late I’m gauranteed to get lost.

Also, I don’t know what it is about me and shoe company campus’. For the second time in my life I had to beg a campus guard to let me past the gate so I could just turn around. Which for some reason I find this ironic. What is the posibility that I would choose the one road that leads to a gate that is for employees only at a shoe company two times in my life.

I didn’t even know Addias had a campus in Oregon. LOL

And if you were in my car you would have had to laugh at me. Half the time I was screaming and half the time begging God to help me out.

It really didn’t help that half my drive was sunny and half my drive was pouring rain and sleet. Pouring so much rain that the roads were flooding and half the time I was hydro plaining while trying to read signs to find my way.

And I have to say at least the construction didn’t throw me off too much.

So that was my drive to the convention center.
