Day 9 – Last Thing(s) I bought

I went on a shopping spree the other day. I have been really, really wanting some boots and I had a picture in my mind and these are almost exact except the color. I wanted western style boots, with heels, not too tall, and slouchy if possible. I was looking for black or gray, but the brown is growing on me. What do you think of the color?

What about the felt, feathers and flowers? Well I’m wanting to start making headbands for myself. I love wearing headbands and I’m wanting some more and my mom had given me a gift card for Joanne’s Fabric and Craft Store. I will be making felt flower headbands and then making some with the feathers and flowers. It will be fun to see how they work out.

   Those boots are fabulous! And I think you’ll be surprised how well that brown goes with other stuff. I’ve had brown western boots for forever and I keep telling myself I need to get some black ones, but my brown ones go with so many things it’s hard to justify buying another pair

   I’m glad to hear that! The first thing my husband said when seeing them was “Do you like the color?” And ever since I’ve been unsure.

   I saw another girl wearing that color and thought it was fun so that’s why I went with them.

   Plus the only black I wear is my leggings (and they look good with those I think) otherwise I wear a lot of color and I think brown looks good with a lot of color.

    @Tammy – I have fat calves too, that’s why I went with shorter boots. I found one tall pair that fit but they weren’t that great!
