As you may have noticed it’s been quiet around here and that is because my husband had last week off and we decided to have a stay-cation. We thought we might go somewhere, but things didn’t work out well with my work and planning so we stayed home and did day trips.
The following vlog is all about 5 tips I learned from last week, so if you are planning on a stay-cation now or in the future I hope this helps you out.
WOW!! pretty new layout 😀
OK when that fell in the sink I almost jumped out of my skin!
Great tips, especially letting people know that you are on vacation even if you are at home! Thanks for sharing this list.
Aww, looks like fun! I’ve been meaning to plan a stay-cation for us, too, but we keep needing to actually go somewhere! 🙂
Stay-cations are economical and allows us to be a tourist in our own town or close by. Planning is important. At least planning the day and what time to get out of the house. It is easy to let time run away. I did one to a local state park in the spring. It did feel like a good break.
This time I am away but doing work on the computer. Did take two days and really stayed out.
Nice tips

Thanks for this! I have the best intentions of planning a staycation for us, but never got around to it. This is motivation.
Hehe – I’m at your blog trying to write a comment. LOL
Def do a staycation. It was a lot of fun and it was really relaxing even with two toddlers.
Crayon Wrangler – Did you see me jump in the video! It was hilarious, I could have edited out but I thought it was funny
I love the staycation tips. We live in Arizona, so we definitely hve a lot of places that are day trip-worthy in this state. Great post!
