Do you have those days that are so busy that by dinnertime you just don’t have the energy to cook? Oh good I’m glad I’m not the only one! I was so excited to find some new dinner ideas to add to my menu plan that are natural, delicious and fit into my healthier lifestyle.
I was introduced to Blake’s Frozen All Natural Dinners by Collective Bias to share with you and I’m so excited to share them. I’m also thrilled to share about one of my favorite apps Ibotta because there is an Ibotta rebate of $1.00 for the dinners.
Life Get’s Busy
Last Friday I had two school parties I was coordinating so I was at the school all day and then I had an evening meeting for work. I was so busy I actually forgot to eat dinner (which is not healthy). I fed the kids but not myself. Oops.
I need to be better about my meal planning to make sure we actually eat together. I also need some dinner ideas that I could make “easy as pie” on not so easy evenings that fit into my healthier lifestyle.
How Do You Handle Busy Evenings?
I need easy meals to add to my meal plan. But as I have started eating healthier I’m more picky about my food. Frozen meals just don’t taste as good as they used to. I also miss some of my favorite comfort foods, like Chicken Pot Pie, because I just don’t have the time to make them.
Then I was introduced to Blake’s Frozen All Natural Dinners, which I was excited to see I could pick up at my local Walmart. They looked good and they had some of my family’s favorite foods: Chicken Pot Pie, Shepard’s Pie, Old Fashion Macaroni and Cheese, Chicken and Dumplings (which my husband quickly grabbed), Lasagna Bake Bolognese and more.
Look at that mess I don’t have time for cooking!
Frozen Dinners? Really? Yep!
One reason I like the frozen dinners, besides they are ready in less than 10 minutes, is you have your portions controlled for you. The meals by Blake’s are made from scratch in small batches by people(not machines).
They are also made with all natural ingredients including white meat chicken. Looking at the nutrition I was excited to see that a lot of the Blake’s Frozen Dinners were under 400 calories some even under 300 so fits well in my low calorie diet.
But How Do The Blake’s Frozen All Natural Dinners Taste?
I was skeptical, after eating more homemade food over the years and trying other frozen dinners, how do Blake’s Frozen All Natural Dinners taste. The chicken pot pie was even better than when I have made my own homemade! They were delicious!
There were big pieces of chicken and the vegetables were not mushy. I loved it and will definitely be keeping a stock of dinners in my fridge for those not so easy evenings.
Don’t Forget get your Ibotta Offer!!
Ibotta is one of my favorite savings apps. I have actually shared about Ibotta on Youtube before. It is a quick and easy way to earn a little extra money and you can combine it with coupons if you are a couponer! The offer is for an Ibotta rebate of $1.00!
Here is a quick periscope I am sharing how to use the Ibotta app.
