I know it’s not friday yet, but wanted to share asap! Our family has been having so much fun, I may have to turn Friday into Family Fun Friday on Pepper Scraps. LEGO® KidsFest has invited us to attend their awesome event & they are also going to be giving one lucky reader of PS two free tickets!

Family Fun = Healthy Family

I’ve been sharing a lot of the fun things that our family has been doing together on Pepper Scraps. You may be wondering, “What does this have to do with being healthy?”

Being a healthy family means more than watching what you eat. Being a healthy family is also about doing fun things together and being connected as a family.

LEGO® = Family Fun

LEGO® is a wonderful healthy family tool. Play with LEGO® bricks can be great for:

Playing: Everyone loves to play with Legos. One of the most exciting Christmases we have had was the LEGO® year. The boys got their first sets and everything that Christmas was about LEGO®.

Learning: We actually use LEGO® bricks for preschool for Zarek. Or we use them for Zane for his homework. LEGO® bricks are a great way to teach your kids learning can be fun!

An Awesome Hobby: Helping your children find hobbies they love can help them throughout their lives. When I’ve talked about “Are you really hungry?” in the past one bad habit is eating when you are bored. Hobbies is a great solution to a bad habit.

LEGO® KidsFest

LEGO® Kidfest is the ultimate  LEGO® family event and they are coming to Portland, OR this October 11 -13, 2013. I was going to list out all the awesome things you can do there, but the list is huge! You can check it out here!

We are so excited to attend! I will be sharing all about what we did and what we thought after attending on Friday!
