Portenzo Case for Nexus 7 Review and Giveaway

I slowly opened the box, almost jumping up and down, so excited to see the Bookcase that Portenzo sent me for free to review. When I found Portenzo I was impressed with the choices of cases including the beautiful choices in colors and designs. They have cases for the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 plus non-Android options and they are all made in the US!

It Fits!

When I first opened my case, which was lovingly wrapped with a special tag and cleaning cloth, I first noticed the size. I was concerned, I carry a small vintage purse and I feared the case may not fit. I had other cases that add too much bulk and made it impossible to close my purse.

The Portenzo case is designed so well that it fits even in my purse! Their dimensions are just perfectly compact to slide in my purse and protect my Nexus 7!

Installing my Nexus 7

I quickly grabbed up my tablet and slid it into the beautifully carved maple frame. You could see that Portenzo makes their cases with tender loving care, they really care about the product they are sending out.

I wasn’t sure how my tablet was going to stay in until I saw their special Grip-Right corners that hold the tablet nice and tight. No worries of my Nexus 7 falling out!

Open, Close & Stand Up

As I played with the case I quickly found that it had an automatic sleep & wake magnet built in. Which I love because if I need to run to do something quickly, like chase down one of my boys, I know that as soon as I close the case it will turn off my tablet for me.

Another feature that I enjoy is the Intellistand, you can quickly prop up your tablet for video viewing or more. I like this as I can set it up for my boys to watch videos without them fighting over who gets to hold the tablet or without sticky fingers getting a hold of my tab.

Wipe it Down

Talking about sticky fingers, one of the things I was concerned about when I picked out the Plaid BookCase – was would stay clean? When I saw the case online I thought it was bound in a fabric, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the material is sealed and is easily wiped off with a damp cloth. Perfect for a mom!

Options & More Options
