Today I share an email from a follower who has been inspired by my weight loss. I want to share this so that you can see that even a little share with someone in your life can make a difference.

This is so awesome. You make good points sometimes we dont know how much we are helping others by being open and honest on these blogs. Also you never know how far a thankyou can go.
I didn’t even really think about it but this does apply to all bloggers, sharing their experiences and their lives can make a difference they don’t even realize.
Good for you Pepper!!! It feels so good to help others that it actually benefits the helper. Healthy living is so much easier when you have accountability and encouragement! Thanks for linking up to Weigh~In Wednesday. Keep going!!!
Exactly one reason I joined up with your link up but now I need to apologize as I realize I didn’t link back as I was rushing to post before heading to work this morning!
more good news! You keep inspiring more people!
Hi Pepper
I have just discovered your blog and loved this post. I have not explored your blog thoroughly yet, but I wanted to add my 2 cents worth to your comments here today.
Let me start by sharing a little of myself. 11 years ago, at the age of 38 I weighed 264 pounds. I could barely walk more than 100 yards without being short of breath. Due to my husband and I deciding to divorce I got the inspiration I needed to finally tackle my growing weight issues and get healthy.
It was tough in the beginning. I walked on a manual treadmill because I did not want to be seen walking in public. As the days passed I got better and better and 14 months later I weighed 145 pounds (at 5ft 7in).
The sad part of this story is that I am now 273 pounds but not quite as unfit as I was back then. While I managed to lose all of that weight and get incredibly fit and healthy, the underlying cause of the weight gain was never properly addressed. I had a perceived need to surround myself with fat for protection from emotional pain.
Today, after reading some inspiring blogs yesterday, and visiting a site that offers free workout videos online, I made the commitment to lose the weight again. I am now 49 but feel I am every bit as capable of losing the weight and getting fit again. I am both excited and scared at the same time, but one of the things that will be different this time around is that I am going to work on believing I deserve to be happy, slim and healthy.
Parents that lose weight and get healthy are an inspiration to their children. Who knows – you could say exactly the right thing one day that will inspire someone to go from morbidly obese to healthy.
It is really nice to share some stories about you and even other stories you know because you can inspire a lot of people who can read your posts..
What a lovely post, every inspiring post is really great.. This is my inspiration in doing such things worthy…
