Ack! This week was thrown off by the fact we ended up with a flat tire on our car yesterday. So no grocery shopping yesterday – luckily hubby is on spring break so I will be able to go out this evening and get what we need. Sometimes things get in the way of menu planning, but just make sure that you have a good stock of your staples at all times. This way you are less likely to order out or eat unhealthy options when things don’t fall into place during the week.
Some of my staples include:
- Eggs
- Greek Yogurt
- Seasonal Fruit
- Seasonal Veggies
- Peanut Butter
- Whole Wheat Bread
- Protein Powder
Goals this week:
- Workout 3x

Questions of the Week:
What or who inspires you to get healthier?
We are really good about meal planning here and I agree that those staples will save your butt because you have to be flexible with the most well-planned weeks.
I actually meal planned this week too.. I always plan dinners but this week I planned every meal of my day. I realized that when I’m left to my own devices I will just eat whatever is quick. I’m hoping that since I don’t have to think about what I’m going to eat it will be a bit better.
Your frittata looks delish! I’m making a turkey pepperoni one tonight for dinner 🙂
I have a turkey pepperoni frittata I enjoy a lot also – I just love frittatas!
Great job meal planning! I need to get back to that. It is so much easier to keep on track with a plan in place. Looking forward to checking out your recipes.
