Banana Bread-Protein-Bites

My boys loved the Carrot Cake Protein Bites so much I decided to try making a new variation. I really need to make these in larger batches though because they get eaten in only a couple days. The boys love them so much. Plus I added these into my bento boxes for dinners.

Banana Bread Protein Bites

Serves: 12

Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal ~ uncooked
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder I use Designer Whey
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon no calorie sweetner or to taste

Directions

  1. Add banana and half the oatmeal into food processor and blend till smooth
  2. Add rest of the ingredients and blend
  3. Pull “dough” out and roll between your hands creating 1 inch balls
  4. You should end up with 12 balls
  5. Lay them out on a plate or cookie sheet and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon
