Hi I'm Pepper. My family and I are sharing pieces of our lives.
We hope to inspire you by showing that even small changes can make the biggest differences in your life. You don't have to go to extremes to become healthy. Just do it one habit, one meal, one walk, and one hug at a time.
Let's work together one piece at a time making better habits, eating healthier, getting moving, and most of all loving our families.

Pepper,
I hate telling my friends that I am trying to eat healthy. They give me hell for it. You know why? They know they need to also. LOL. Or when we go out they want me to join into the festivities with them. I mean it’s no fun celebrating alone, right? 🙂
Today I decided to start tracking what I eat. I HATE doing this but I am also done not losing any weight yet I exercise 4-5 times a week. And I exercise, I have a trainer and I do circuits. I have muscle under the fat, it is time I should see it. LOL.
Have a great day!

I’ve actually thought about talking about this issue, because I’ve been dealing with some weight loss guilt. I feel bad when I see a friend or even an acquaintance that has weight issues. I know how they feel about themselves and I feel like I’m leaving them behind. Luckily my best friends are loosing weight right now also otherwise I might be feeling really bad. Luckily I have encouragers for friends so don’t deal with getting “hell” from others about eating heatlhy.
You should so check out MyFitnessFriend.com to do your food tracking! I love it! We can be friends on their too!
Great tips for eating healthier! Purging the junk food from the house is a great start and planning ahead are most helpful to me.
It was much easier before the grocery store moved in right across the street. Seriously though, I feel so much better when I eat better. I am really into eating better.
This is such a timely article for me. I am trying to cut way down on the sugar and refined flour in my diet and to eat closer to the source. Living in the country this is a bit easier for me, as I am not “constantly” tempted by the grocery store.

Great tips! When we went paleo we did #1 for sure. We donated anything that had grains like flour and pasta as well as all our canned beans. We got rid of so much food.
