My boys loved the Carrot Cake Protein Bites so much I decided to try making a new variation. I really need to make these in larger batches though because they get eaten in only a couple days. The boys love them so much. Plus I added these into my bento boxes for dinners.
Banana Bread Protein Bites
Serves: 12
Ingredients
- 1 medium banana
- 1 1/2 cups oatmeal ~ uncooked
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder I use Designer Whey
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon no calorie sweetner or to taste
Directions
- Add banana and half the oatmeal into food processor and blend till smooth
- Add rest of the ingredients and blend
- Pull “dough” out and roll between your hands creating 1 inch balls
- You should end up with 12 balls
- Lay them out on a plate or cookie sheet and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon
