I’ve been craving baked items like cake and sweets. This Carrot Cake Oatmeal hit the spot. It was really like eating a piece of carrot cake for breakfast. As for my boys it was a split vote on who liked it. But strangely it was my picky eater who ate his all up!
This is a very thick oatmeal if you like your oatmeal a little more mushy and a little runnier just add more milk before cooking.

This sounds so yummy. I’m not usually a huge oatmeal lover, but I think it’s because it can be so bland. These flavors sounds wonderful! One questions… what is brown sugar substitute?
I found it at Fred Meyer’s (I believe that means you can find it at Kroger also) it is “Zero Calorie Brown Baking Sweetner”. When I wrote this I thought it was equivalent to splenda but it’s not because it is calorie free.
Here is the equivalent on amazon: Ideal Brown No Calorie Sweetener (aff link)
Thanks for the info, Wanda enjoy!
