Yes. It is definitely a fear of mine. I think the main thing for me is to make sure I am offering healthy options and treats with moderation. More than that though, I think I am vigilant on guarding her mind more than anything. I had some very unhealthy influencers in my childhood that led to a screwed up since of worth when it came to weight. I am an adult now and responsible for those attitudes, but it is important to me to make sure that she knows nutrition, diet and exercise are related to health– not worth.
