I’m currently doing Nicole Kellerman’s 21 Day Get Moving Challenge, which I will be the first admit I’m struggling with getting the challenge into my crazy week this week.
I liked today bonus challenge so I thought I would share it with you and send the challenge your way too!
The Challenge:
Write down 10 things you absolutely love about YOU. I love my…I love my…I love my… (think a little deeper than just your physical body)
My Answers:
- I love my new confidence in my self as I have challenged myself to change my weight, my health and my life.
- I love my peaches n’ cream complexion, I’m pale and proud and I never have to worry about a color not looking good on me.
- I love my funky, artistic sense of style. I love mixing colors and patterns, going a little on the outside of fashion or a little ahead of fashion. Now only if I had the money to do it like I wish.
- I love my small cute toes (you will just have to trust me on this one!)
- I love my ability to be a good listener for my friends
- I love my fast growing hair, I love that I can get funky hair cuts or short haircuts with no care because it will grow out in no time.
- I love my my artistic and computer skills. I love spending the day creating beauty on my computer or hacking away on a computer issue and puzzling it out.
- I love my freckles – I don’t know they are just a part of who I am. I love the one on my arm that is an upside down sea horse.
- I love my crafty little brain. Show me something that you want to figure out how it was made and I bet you I can figure it out or at least figure out how I can do it.
- I love my compassionate heart. God gave me a big heart that when I see others even at their worst I look at them and know their must be a story on why they are acting out the way they are. I feel sorry for them – even when they are yelling at me.
Your Answer? Now it’s your turn share 10 things!
You can either just write them here in the comments or post them on your blog and share the link in the comments. I would love to hear what you like about yourself!!
This is a lot harder than you might think! But here goes:
1. I love my faith in God, that no matter what comes my way, I know that God is in charge of my life and it will work out well. Maybe not the way I have planned, but the way He has planned
2. I love my body, even though I am twenty five pounds over weight, I am comfortable and my husband really likes it so it makes me feel wanted.
3. I love my children, which are each unique and share a different aspect of my character. They are all so a part of me.
4. I love my ability to figure things out. Being able to perceive things spatially is a wonderful gift.
5. I love my ability to get things done. Load me up, I’ll make a list and get it checked off…if might not be perfect, but it will be finished. I am good at delegating, though it is often mistaken for being “bossy”.
6. I love my carefree attitude about life in general. Stuff doesn’t have to be perfect, I thank God that he sometimes hides the greatest treasures in the cracks of imperfection.
7. I love that God made me compassionate. I love to help others (sometimes even when they don’t want help)
8. I love that I don’t have to hang on to “things”. It is easy for me to give away “things” especially if it those “things” will make someone else s life easier
9. I love that I am creative in a unique way and am old enough to not care that I am different.
10. I love my life, God has blessed me in so many ways.
Thank you for sharing your list, Jill, it is just amazing! It’s wonderful to read other’s lists about what they like about themselves. I wish I had your #5 ability! I have so many projects undone, but I guess that’s what makes me artistic right!?
Yes, I think that sometimes things are a work in progress Pepper, they don’t need to be “done”. The really great master pieces took years to complete – like the statue of David, and the Sistine Chapel. I really love that you like your toes! Kind of funny but when I lived in Hawaii and was taking art at the University, I would sit outside before class and watch the feet go by – as everyone is barefoot (or practically barefoot) there. I love feet. They are all so unique!
